A celebration of the 550th anniversary of the Gutenberg Press:

Original 4,000+ year old Sumerian clay tablets

Early Mathematics: a reconstruction of the Antykethera, the first computer

Original 13th-15th century manuscripts

     
A full size reconstruction of the Gutenberg Press A Leaf from the Gutenberg Bible (the first printed book), several historic Bibles & Enlightenment Books (Bacon & Locke) 1st & Early editions including those by Galileo, Kepler, Newton, Turing,  Darwin, Einstein & Shakespeare

Experience 800 Years of Rare Books, Manuscripts, Historic Newspapers, Maps & Prints

 

This exhibit is sponsored to date & in part with contributions by Zoot Enterprises, ILX Lightwave,

Insty Prints of Bozeman, Allegra Network, Weiss-Aug, Bennett Painting & the Bozeman Daily Chronicle

Some of the Bibles on display, including the Gutenberg Bible Leaf are on loan from the American Bible Society in New York City.
